After completing the Ananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram 200 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course the students receive an internationally accredited Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification. This is the perfect start for a lifelong journey of teaching and studying Yoga. After the four week experience at the Ananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram the students possess a firm foundation for teaching Yoga.
The students will possess a new and deep understanding of the Vedic philosophies, the pillars on which the practice of Yoga is built. Furthermore the students will have attained a high level in their own Yoga Asana and Pranayama practice, so they understand the poses and exercises very well and can demonstrate them if necessary. The will also have mastered many advanced Hatha Yoga poses like the Scorpion and the Peacock for example.
But most importantly the students will have learned various techniques and methods to teach Hatha Yoga. They will have learned how to teach, explain and correct the Breathing Exercises, the Sun Salutatio and the 12 basic Hatha Yoga Poses and some of their variations.
