Why learning yoga at the ashram in Gurukul system?

Arhanta Yoga ashram teaches you on the ancient Indian education system of Gurukul, in which you are required to stay with the teachers and fellow students and study at the Yoga Ashram (residential spiritual center). Gurukul is an ancient and proven system of learning in India.

Closely supervised by the teacher, you will work physically and mentally and acquire the full experience of Yogic lifestyle. This way the rich tradition and wisdom of Yoga will be soaked up and integrated by you.

You will live with simple and basic facilities and limited communication with outer world. This will help you to keep your mind away from your regular life distractions and attachments and focus completely on the teachings and self reflection, hence increasing your learning capabilities by many degrees.
